Osceola Small Business
The Small Business Development Center at UCF serves an eight-county area that includes Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties.
The mission of the SBDC at UCF is to provide high-quality management advice and comprehensive business training through the collaboration of higher education and economic development organizations, contributing to Central Florida’s economic growth.
The SBDC at UCF in Kissimmee was established in 2004 to provide one-on-one consulting and training to prospective, emerging and established entrepreneurs in Osceola County. By providing the necessary tools to its entrepreneurs, Certified Business Analysts help develop business plans, marketing plans, feasibility studies, market research, loan proposals and strategic plans.
The Ken Shipley SBDC at UCF is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Osceola County and City of Kissimmee. The business center is located on the second floor of the Chamber building.
