Terry’s Electric, Inc. (TEI) was founded in 1979 by B. Terence “Terry” and Jeanne Quigley. For 40 years, this Kissimmee-based company has provided the Central Florida community and beyond with commercial, residential, and utility electrical work and service. They are a family company that prides themselves on quality and safety. Here is an overview of some of their projects and services.
Terry’s Electric has been trusted with major installations at hotel, retail, resort, school, office, government, healthcare, warehouse, and retail locations all around Florida. Office projects include Toho Water Authority’s LEED-certified headquarters building, while resort projects have included the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa and Universal Orlando’s new Cabana Bay Resort. TEI collaborates closely with all contractors on a commercial project from pre-construction, through bidding, to procurement.
Terry’s Electric is here for residents, too. From single, custom homes to multi-family units and apartments, they are proud of the reputation they have developed with large-scale builders, as well as the product they provide for smaller family homes. They work with their customers from the planning stages when installing devices and wiring in a new home. They are also happy to provide home upgrades such as security systems, surround sound pre-wire, etc.
In addition to large- and small-scale installation, Terry’s Electric can repair electrical wiring in a home, office, or business. They strive to complete fast, quality service at a fair price. No job is too small, and they are only a phone call away 24/7. Common services include power restoration, preventative maintenance or repair, renovations, and code issues. If necessary, they will troubleshoot a situation until it is solved.
On a much larger scale, utilities companies throughout the state hire Terry’s Electric to install and upgrade their substations and equipment. They are prepared to work on high voltage substations, such as KUA’s Hansel Substation in Kissimmee, and FPL’s Mars Substation in Cape Canaveral, safely and efficiently. They also construct new substations, make renovations on live substations, and expand or replace substations. TEI has invested heavily in their Utility Division with the addition of a fleet of bucket trucks, diggers, cranes, and lifts, which are necessary for work on street lighting, parking lighting, meter exchanges, underground duct banks, underground cabling, and pad mounted transformers. TEI is also diligent about keeping up with continued education, training, and certification for their utilities crews.
